Added a small detail to my Stetson Medalist. There is a vendor on Instagram that makes all sorts of hat band add ons. His name is Rollin, at theloveoffelt. This one is called a Stinger with a Stetson emblem, it slides into the hatband and comes with a built in small razor knife and leather...
In that photo, he had just finished it. Poor verbiage on my end. Yes, he will be missed. I need to drive back to Texas Hatters next month to talk with Joella about reblocking and putting in some sweatbands on a couple of other hats.
Disney Gotham. Short brim beauty. Appears as new / unworn condition with original box. snug 7 1/4, Once I brushed and steamed the hat it lit up like new again. Not sure of age on Disney hats. Even came with a rain hat protector that has never been opened.
Whatever became of the old Borsalino color chart that used to be here? I see links to it, but it no longer displays the page. Too bad. I was trying to find info on this old Borso.
Just scored my first Dalton. Albeit, a short brim beauty. It arrived in what appears to be new unworn condition. The liner says Worlds Finest. The sweatband is stlll soft and supple. Seeing how little info is around, I have no clue to the age. The rich green fur with black bow and binding are...
That wonky brim look happened to me on a couple of long oval hats. I'm a round oval and trying to squeeze into the long oval, even though it was my exact size, it would do what yours is doing. I ended up having to have it reblocked to my round head. Now it's fine.
I have never seen a Borso with this design. Found on a local marketplace website for $50. So, I snatched it up. Has anyone here seen this style before? Guess I will know more when it arrives and I can peek under the hood. ;)
I havent used the Fedora Lounge site here for quite awhile, I've been using the Facebook edition instead. Seems there are alot more spam ads than usual. That's very sad to see. Anyway, thought I'd say hi to everyone. For today's 106 degree Texas heat day I'm wearing my American Hat Co...

I have not seen many or these G.B Borsalino's. This is a Alessandria / GHIAGOIU(?) 40's - 50's ??? Excellent felt feels like soft butter. Not sure what the borso color tag is but appears as medium golden tan. Wish it fit my size 59 head better. ;)
Thanks Bob, I took that Mallory off your hands. Didn't "need" another straw, but saw it was from my hometown in Milwaukee and decided to scoop it up. ;)
Thanks Steve, I'll be heading your way next week. Amsterdam, then Iceland, then onto Cork & Belfast. Hoping to score a hat somewhere along the line during our travels. ;)
