Decline of the Hat
Cost and convenience. I wouldn’t pay $50 for a ball cap but have paid four times or more for fedoras. I’ve never left my favorite ball cap home on vacation because I was afraid I’d damage it on the flight. I never dedicated 1/4 or more of precious closet space for my collection of ball caps...- Chasblount

I bought a nearly new David Morgan Adventure second hand that came with the “Indy bash.” I liked the hat fine and it seemed well made. The felt was pretty stiff; it was going hold that bash for years. Unfortunately it was just too big for me and I reluctantly sold it.- Chasblount

Just received this Champ today. As near as I can tell it was never worn, pinched or bashed. The E-Bay photos were crappy so I hoped I was getting a deal. I figured for $50 bucks, take a risk.
