    puretxnxt: I tried a Kat Von D lipstick ("Underage Red" is the color I have) and found it to be incredibly drying. I can only wear it if i slather on some lip balm first. It does stay put though, I'll give it that.

    Just because I have bangs.....

    I have "the" bangs as well and every time someone makes some bettie page comment, I just tell them that I have bangs to cover a giant scar. It's a little over-the-top yes, but it shuts 'em up! In reality, I have bangs because I have a giant forehead and wonky profile... the bangs lessen it.

    I hand-wash vintage rayon quite often and have never had a problem. I would never iron it though... I always steam rayon garments after air-drying. Also, I only use really diluted Woolite on my rayon garments... not sure if that makes a difference, but it works for me and I'd rather not...

    Valleygirl... "Vintage" when referring to clothing, means the garment was actually constructed in a certain time period before now (like the 30s, 40s, 50s or what have you). So when you say Alloy or Charlotte Russe has vintage stuff, that's not actually true.... it's just "vintage inspired"...
