Hi:
I'm looking for an Indy Magnoli idol. Yes, I know that his run was years ago and Yes, I know that there are newer and more accurate idols out there, but I'd really like to have one . If you've got one and would like to work something out. Let me know.
Thanks...
Mike
I'm looking for a leather made, winter type USAAF style cap. The only one I've found is this one: Eastman Leather Co. USAAF Type B-2 Winter Flying Cap
I think it looks great and is perfect. My problem is they only make them up to a size 7 1/2, which is just a tad small for me.
Does anyone...

My Grandmother used to drink her tea, or coffe from a saucer. She would be poured a cup of tea and then pour that into the saucer. I never thought twice about it, but I've only seen it done a couple of times since and only in old movies.
Has anyone else seen or heard of this?
Surely someone here has had a military patch put on their A-2. I'm wondering if anyone who did this had any problems. Is there a trick to it? I would guess you most probably go to a cobbler, but that's just a guess.
ANY information, suggestions, or ideas would be appreciated.
I've been looking at the Avirex and the Cooper cockpit jackets and plan on buying one soon. Those are the jackets with the nose art on the back. To me, they look about the same, but I'm wondering if others have some information they might like to share as to one being better than another...
Just a quick question for those who know...
Is there a real difference between the Korean made Avirex of about 20 years ago and what Avirex currently puts out?
Art just finished working on this. It's from PanamaBob, by way of Art Fawcett (vintagesilhouettes). Now if you want details, you're going to have to ask Art. I'm the guy who signs the check and wears the hat. He is the guy who works the magic! :D
I really enjoy this movie. Actually it's one that I watch often when I'm dying on the treadmill!
Anyway, I haven't seen anything new posted under props, so I thought I would post this. I guess I should have taken the photo before I had it framed, so the glare wouldn't be there.
I've always thought the bow tie was a look not everyone could pull off. I'm wondering how many guys here wear them, have thought about wearing one, or even know how to tie one!
Personally, I don't think one would look good on me.
I'm sure most, if not all of you have seen this movie. I'm watching it now and it's one of my all time favorites. Great WW II flick, a different plot and some very nice flight jackets too!
Well, being flat on my back this last weekend, I did some reading and a lot of TV watching. Due to it being Memorial Day weekend, there were some great war movies on too! Including some of my favorites like:
The Longest Day & Run Silent Run Deep.
Well, I'm confirmed. I'll be touring a little bit of England, seeing my Grand Parents home town in France then checking out Rome and the area around it. I'll be leaving at the end of August.
So, having said that, I'm going to be looking to spend a few Euros while I'm there. Does anyone have...
