Wondering who may have experience good or bad with Gamble & Gunn in Great Britain. Have this pork pie ordered and on the way: https://gambleandgunn.com/product/gamble-gunn-heisenberg-style-porkpie-hat/ At $41 U.S. obviously not high end but other hats I’ve gotten in the UK have been very...

    Show off your Porkpies

Great Comment thank you. This Scala I found runs small so I originally got a medium and had to exchange for a large. That being said I have a couple of spacers inside of it so even if I do hit a point where it shrinks a little bit I’ll be in good shape. Appreciate the comments and feedback.

If I should be posting this in another forum kindly let me know. My question is if anyone here has any experience or thoughts/comments on Del Monico Hatter out of New Haven Connecticut? I understand they've been a family based business since 1908 making many of their hats and I just ordered...

    Show off your Porkpies

Scala Porkpie by Dorfman Pacific, while not particularly high-end compared to many on this forum, it is in my budget and has what I want namely, satin lining, 2 inch brim, leather sweatband and looks classy all around. I’ve been fairly dormant for a while as I’ve been experimenting with trying...

    Hasidic Jewish hats

That is a nice encounter compared to the one I had. The gentleman (that's a stretch) was rude and asked the question in a hostile manner. He then added some other negative comments after I informed him I was not Jewish but enjoy a more stylish hat than just a baseball hat and, not everyone who...

    Hasidic Jewish hats

Interesting read as I just had an "are you Jewish" encounter recently coming out of a grocery store. I was wearing a Scala crushable water repellant black fedora. Featuring only a 2 3/8 brim and crown about 4 inches high. I was unaware that this (?) resembles a Jewish style fedora? In my opinion...

Thanks for the positive comments. I think in regards to it being quite a range as mentioned; probably because when I started out getting into nicer hats and away from baseball hats like so many here have; I started with stingy brim 1.5 inch or so brims. I started to be able to branch out into 2...

Hi new here and hoping I'm posting right. Wanted to get some opinions on couple of my hats. Been experimenting and seems 1 3/4 inch- 2.5 inch brim is about my sweet spot at least as far as I can tell in looking at myself. I like it.
