Yes skived steer is still a beast! More pictures after a week of wear. I didn’t change the Remix pattern and I changed the sleeve length, shortened the body and collar measurements for better fit. The plaid wool lining is nice! It was used for a batch of Nepenthes jackets.
I had a similar experience with Sullivan. CS reached out and told me there was a defect - stains and offered a discount. Upon receiving the gloves there were other defects - gouge in the middle of palm of 1 glove and loose stitching. Will not buy again.
I recall reading that Jin asked JL to presoak the Masaye leather for one of the later jackets to take out the guesswork from rain shrinkage. Was this something that you have considered for the next build?
