Found this at Goodwill for $10. Practically unworn, a bit of patina on the cuffs. Lining is a heavy satin fabric. Handwarmer pockets are lined with flannel.moleskin. Any information as to age or about the maker would be appreciated.
I'm looking at the Born Boggart for a light duty field and work book. Anyone have any experience with this model or others in the Born line? Is the fit true to size? (I wear a nine medium to wide). Comfortable? Support? I like the retro look of the toe cap.
Here's a link to the boot...
I'm looking for a size large anorak. Would prefer 60-40 cloth, but will consider others. Not wanting a collectable, just one to wear. Vintage would be great, say a Class 5, but I would consider recent production. Also not interested in military surplus like the Swiss snow smock.
I'm looking for a traditional anorak in cotton, canvas, or 60/40 blend (not 100% nylon) in size large in a neutral color. Would prefer an unlined one by LL Bean, Class 5, Eddie Bauer, Kelty, or?
I've considered the ones available from Duluth Pack, Empire Canvas, Daniel Johns (UK), and...
I’ve been shopping for one of these jackets with the wool lining and Mouton collar. The versions in the current catalog are S, M and L and advertised as “Body is lined with warm merino wool pile.” Earlier jackets say on the tag “shearling lined.” I assume that means actual sheepskin lining...
I recently acquired a vintage Stetson Sovereign that resembles an Open Road. Has the Cattleman's crease, 2 3/8" bound brim, narrow ribbon with OR style bow, and a wind trolley. The sweatband says "The Sovereign Stetson." There is no "X" designation and no tags inside the sweatband except for...
I'm looking for a Stetson Open Road in size 7 1/2. Long Oval preferred, but the standard size will work. This will be a working hat, not a dress hat, so condition isn't all that important. PM me with what you have. I'm keeping up with Ebay listings and the classifieds here. Thanks.

I'm currently shopping for vintage Stetson OR in 7 1/2, preferably LO. Some listings on Ebay describe older Stetsons as "wool" or "wool felt." I thought wool felt was a recent development for Stetson's cheaper lines and would be inconsistent with a 3X or higher designation. Also, how mcuh...
If this has been posted or linked before, I apologize. Thought it was in interesting bit of history on the Open Road at Colorado School of Mines.
