Visited the LL store in London. Was not impressed to be honest. Loved the veg tan cow though. All other leathers were majorly underwhelming. The guy quoted me ~2k pounds for a custom in veg tan cow. All the jackets I saw there were very meh compared to the Vanson E was hauling around on my back...
Is this a good reason to revive a thread? Probably not.
But good god, this jacket and fit..
That was a 10/10 for me when I first saw it and it still is 100%.
Dude made 9 posts on TFL and this post was one of them.
KILLED it!
For fantastic contemporary stuff I can highly recommend Klamra.

They make CAST BRASS (not zamak!) and cast german silver buckles and frame buckles.
Free worldwide delivery to boot!
Need more jackets to create a demand for that! "Sweetie I had all these leather scraps laying around for zipper pulls, but didn't have enough jackets to put them on.. That's where our savings went!"
Went through a similar experience.
Ordered some samples from Aero, paid for the samples and the shipping. Samples got stuck, Aero sent out a new batch for free. Eventually got both batches.
SB sent out 3 or 4 batches for free.
SB definitely wins in the leather sample sending aspect of ordering...
Nice, thank you for the unboxing video!
My first target is a pair of Nicks in their Thurman last with a wide toe box.
Once that goal is reached (and I have sold most of my boots) then maybe next year I can think of a pair of MOTOR engineers.
@Drzdave58
I'm very jealous. A pair of MOTOR engineer boots are my grail/dream engineer boots. I want them more than any other pair from other heavy hitters like Role Club, Clinch, John Lofgren, etc...
Not quite sure why, but there's something very unique about them. Maybe the way they overdye...
