Removing the "fuzziness" from a new Stetson Nostalgia?
I have a fairly new grey Stetson Nostalgia that I like but the brim seems particularly fuzzy, for lack of a better term. I would like to know how is best to remove this. I did try pouncing an Akubra Campdraft but can't remember the grit or type of sandpaper used. Not sure if this is what will... -

Campdraft with center dent bash?
Just wondering if anyone has a Campdraft with a center dent bash? I can't seem to get mine to look right or either its so deep that the dent pushes down on the top of my head, which I don't like. Any help appreciated. Thanks Jedidiah -

I've always heard of the superior felt quality of vintage hats as opposed to the production stuff of today. I do believe that it's true, but I wonder what makes the difference? Did they use higher percentages of beaver or other better fur, better pouncing techniques, or different felting... -

Here goes: just ordered my Stetson Nostalgia
Just ordered my Stetson Nostalgia from the Garland, TX outlet. Sales clerk seemed nice and I hope my first Stetson experience is a good one. I know the brim on a nostalgia is 2.5 inches but anyone know how high the crown is? I'll post my impressions as soon as it arrives. Thanks, Jedidiah -

Anyone ever put a wider ribbon on a Camp Draft?

Thinking of having one of my Camp Drafts brim cut down and wondered if anyone could recommend someone to rebind the edge? Can they reuse the original ribbon? I would like it to match the original if not. Will Akubra sell some extra ribbon? Anyone have any pics of a trimmed Camp Draft? Thanks Jed -

How to clean oily spots on Campdraft?
Took my ol' reliable Camp Draft on a hunting trip recently and somehow got a bit of an oily spatter on it and just wondering what would be the best way to clean it? Spots are small but there are several of them. Any help appreciated. Thanks Jedidiah -

Sanding Akubra felt a la Indycop?
I love my new Camp Draft but it is a hair fuzzy ( pun intended) and read where Indycop routinely sandpapers his Akubras some. How much does this change the fuzziness? What direction to sand? What grit? Potential for screw-up? Thanks, Jed -

I am contemplating a Stylemaster as my second fedora and just wondering if you can re-bash it, maybe to a center dent to increase the height of the crown a bit? Fix ribbon curling?
My new Camp Draft's ribbon ends are curling and I want to fix it. They were curled out of the box and I dampened them and lightly ironed them flat but whenever is gets wet or stored upside down the ribbons dangle freely and eventually curl. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jed
