I work in the video industry, and I recently spoke to my rep about Cry Danger. Unfortunately, it is not available on DVD, and Widebrim is right, a VHS copy is very expensive. I do know that the Film Noir Foundation just restored Cry Danger, so there may be hope that it will become available at...

The 1940's specifically for the great film noirs, even though some really good ones were made in the 50's. Also really enjoy the Technicolor musicals of the 40's. Just a really fun time for films in general.
I really enjoyed The Machinist. Also feel that Memento was very well done. Dead Again from 1991 was excellent, and I also like Collateral. But hard to go against The Usual Suspects.

Just watched "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" Sun. night. I had not read the book, so was unprepared for the film. Wow...simply beautiful, and haunting.
Very true, not quite the caliber of Best Years, but a solid flick with many of the same themes. I completely agree. And what a great supporting cast: Shirley Temple, Agnes Moorehead, Lionel Barrymore, Hattie McDaniel, and Robert Walker. It even won the Oscar for best score by Max Steiner. Great...
