    Public Enemies

The book is excellent, too There's lots fan of this forum will find of interest in the book---which almost certainly will be more true to history than will the movie. Burrough's (the author) doesn't spare the clothes talk. From my review of the book:

    Something I've noticed

My old dad, many uncles, and grandfather all served and none wore anything but a baseball cap, though my grandfather had a small fedora that he kept in a closet (I inherited this). But I was in, too, and always wear hats.

    Felt hats in summer..

FedoraFan112390, I'm in the city, too, and wear felt most of the summer, though a light colored one, but I go for straw or a cap when wearing light-colored linens. Keeping the sun off the head really brings the temp down, even if it's felt.

    Fed IV Carbon vs. Moonstone?

Gray or light blue? Goose's pics make the Moonstone look grey, and even a slightly dark shade of grey, but awest84532's make it look like a pale blue! Must be the background in awest84532's pic: all that blue makes for a dramatic contrast.

    My first period suit !

The suit is great. If you don't mind a suggestion, try a wider tie, perhaps in red. The thin, dark one you have on doesn't seem to be able to stand up to the chest. White spats would make it pop, too.
