My Churchill came in today. The ebay auction was listed as NOS, and it definitely seems to be unworn. the brim was almost completely flat when it came, very stiff with hardly any flanging at all, and no swoop to the brim. Hat Sightings
I was at the SoCal Renaissance Faire on Saturday, and talked to a guy with an awesome brown Adventurebuilt. I was a bit drunk at the time, so I forgot to ask him if he was on here. Hats similar to a Chatham
I got my black Chatham back in November (it has a brass pin still), and I never noticed any powder on it at all. It's been a great hat so far. It's been slightly crushed a time or two, and been in a light Southern California rain a few times with no ill effect. I'd ask the shop to brush it out...- Fedora Jay

What to wear with a fedora....
I'm sure I'll make several people here cringe, but I wear my fedoras with just about anything. I routinely wear them with t-shirts, and even zip up hoodies. How to reshape or set a fedoras brim?
My wool Stetson doesn't take to reshaping at all. I'm pretty sure I've shrunk it to a taper some from messing with it (before I learned the difference between wool and fur). Perhaps some hat stiffener might work to keep it in place? Should be able to pick some up at any western shop or online.- Fedora Jay

I do believe they are the same hat. Glad to finally have a name to go with it! Ironically, it's my least expensive hat, but I've gotten more compliments on it than any of my furs. Glad it's warming up so I can start wearing it again.- Fedora Jay
