Hey there,
I work at an optical shop. I don't need prescription glasses but I am a sunglass fanatic.
After going through the Ray-Ban phase that seems to have sweeped the world over the past ten years I've checked out a few other brands.
Persol, I've seen a few of their 649 frames made into...
Long time since I've been on here!
Or since I purchased a new hat!
But the other day I got a great deal on 4 Goorin Bros cadet style caps. I had one last year and it was perfect, my favorite cap by far and I was a dummy and lost it along with a pair of Ray-Ban wayfarers.
But now I'll...
The man can wear anything and he seems to pull it off in a weird way, even the over sized suits.
That leather jacket it pretty sweet, I hardly ever come across them in brown.
Hey,
Sometimes I'll pair my stone grey stetson with a saddle brown leather train coat, I like the combination and I've never gotten an Indy comment.
Lonny!
Today I was wearing my green cadets cap until the rain picked up and I switched to a broad brimmed grey stetson and my umbrella!
I think its time to find a decent straw hat though, summer is on its way!
Hey guys,
I've got a brand new with makers tag fedora for sale!
It is dark brown fur felt with a western style beaver finish. Size 61cm.
I bought it for two hundred and forty dollars Canadian, I wouldn't mind to sell for less, but I was thinking around 180 plus shipping, although I do...
I know some Wayfarers don't have the Rayban logo on the outside of the arms and have that small oval like on the front of the rims, I had a pair like that in tortoise, I forget what year they are from but they were genuine and they were pretty sweet!
I wore a pair of Aldo Benyo boots for about a year and a half straight before the right boot totally fell apart, as in the sole fell off the boot haha.
At the time I paid 180 I think.
They are now at about 100 bucks...
Oh yeah, plus 30 bucks for a heel repair.
I got my Moscot Lemtosh frames back from the Wal-Mart eye centre, they switched 'em out with black polarized lenses as opposed to the clear ones that came with them when I ordered them from Moscot, I've never seen anybody with the same sunglasses as me and I get alot of compliments on them as...
Hey guys,
My friend gave me a Russian Molijna(spelling?) pocket watch with a Soviet Order of the Red Banner award on the front cover and "Great Patriotic War 1941-1945" on the back with a Soviet star in the middle, its really great, I've always wanted a pocket watch and it comes in so handy...
Hey guys,
So I got my first pair of Martens this past december for my birthday!
They're 1460 Union Jack boots, my mum got them for me from the Doc Marten online store and they have certainly lived up to their name!
I love them and I have my eyes set on at least 3 different doc marten...
I don't plan it out the night before unless it is a special occassion, I like to relax in the morning and just throw on what ever strikes me as comfortable that day. Although my foot wear is limited to a pair of doc martens with a union jack toe at the moment, it does tend to make it hard to...
I have been told I am stylish or have good taste in clothes from my friend who is off to Toronto for fashion school, I just wear what I like, what appeals to me, nothing special haha, but sometimes its nice to see what everybody likes and compare what I have to the current fashion trends just...
I think the Fedora Lounge is one of the better style forums I've seen, it is certainly more of a warm community, for instance, I saw this one forum where everybody is always so rude to each other, constantly bashing style choices which aren't deemed "gangsta". I thought it was funny, but...
I think they look great as shades, but a bit G-man-ish haha. Like the typical men in black of the 50s look. Haha. But its awesome. Very cool, reminds me of Ray Ban clubmasters.
Hey Chuck!
Or anybody else.
Sorry to kind of go off topic, but I really love that hat pictured above my post, what make is it exactly?! I really want one! :D
Is it a campdraft?
Where can I find one?
Thanks guys! :)
Lonny.
Okay guys!
I've decided to go with Wal Mart despite it being well...Wal Mart...
That and it seems most optomitrists want 200+ for a lens swap!
It'll be 155 for polarized glass lenses, I'm really excited!
Thanks for the advice guys!
Lonny.
