    This one is around the shoulders and the collar stiff too,but it's a bit to cold here(ca.-5°C/23°F) ,to break it in... This is just midweight-HH, I wonder how the heavy-fq-HH would feel...:rolleyes:

    Since yesterday, my first A-2 (size 40) is there:D It's the "USAAF Type A-2 Oil-Pull Horsehide" with dark berry knits. The pictures are not the best quality ,but iv'e got only a mobile-camera available. What do you think about fit etc. ?

    I got this picture of Knits from aero ,the colour of dark berry and rust are looking less colored than on previous pictures. Is this equivalent to truth ?

    Thanks, it's the USAAF Type A-2 http://www.aeroleatherclothing.com/webapp/aeroleather/servlet/AeroViewPage?page=displayproduct&subcatid=101&prodid=534 only differnce it's made of oil-pull hh. The fit don't have to be really tight ,just not "loose".

    Thanks. I made the decission ,I'am going for the USAAF Type A-2 in Natural Vintage Horsehide. I have already sent the mesurements to Aero i have a 38,75"relaxed and 40" expandet chest so i was advised to get a size 40. I asked if i want to go for a bit taller fit,weather i should go for the same...

    Thanks, I think i will go for a USAAF Type A-2 in Natural Vintage Horsehide ,i've seen some pictures at the lounge ,i like the cutt of the jacket and and the surface of it. There should soon arrive some samples of the leather... Stuffed with oils and waxes sounds water resistant, does...

    In that case i could be the jacket for me to go for ,the only way to would be to try it. But i,m not sure ,because on their side there are no returning polices listed. Does Aero redfund their not-custom-sized jackets ,in a definite period ?

    Nice, is the reddish undertone really so intensive ? It don't seam to be on other pictures ,or does aero may varry the undertone in case wich collor of cuffing you chose ?

    The size is the circumference of the chest in inch,right ? The "Real deal" is what i thought about or maybe the USAAF Type A-2, Seal Brown Horsehide.

    Yes ,that's what i ment ,heavy enoght to stand rough wear ,but it dont have to bee like "bullet prooft". I don't have anything to compare withe because i had nerver a jacked made by Horsehide.:o Historical accuracy is secondary ,first of all i want a good loocking ,well made ,durabel jacked...
