leather conditioner

Hi everyone, I'm hoping you guys can help me out I just got a 1999 Schott 618 that someone had sitting in a closet all this time. Looked brand new and the leather is great condition. It didn't even have any arm creases yet! But there was a really dry brittle spot on the upper right chest area...

I just noticed a few small scuffs on a leather belt I have from Gucci, would it be ok to use Saphir cream on the belt to fix them? It's Saphir Medaille d'Or Pommadier Cream specifically. I use it for my leather boots/shoes, but wasn't sure if it was ok to use on a leather belt. Anyone with any...
