This squadron is from the Korean war. It is the 310th fighter bomber squadron. They were stationed at K2 in Korea in 1953. They flew f-84 thunderjets.

Interestingly, the wings on Captain Toof's 1953 Air Force jacket more closely resemble the Army pilot wings than the Air Force pilot wings. While similar, there are subtle differences, as seen below:

Extremely good eye! Those are army wings. The L-2B that I posted, has the correct wings.
I have no idea what the current wings would be for today's air Force. I wonder if they still use metal, or if it's only on cloth now?
Perhaps they have metal wings for dress uniforms still?
