Blcok Bilt made the most beautiful jackets in the 30's/40's. This one is no exception. Excellent condition. Lovely and rare russet goatskin leather. Bidding just $157 with a day to go.

I expected it to go for way more having the size in mind and the brand obviously. A size for the japanese market.

size 44 on the tag...I think the measurements were off. The seller didn't respond when I asked over the weekend. I guess he didn't have to.

It can be possible. Some of the jackets were sized different back then, I mean you can even see that today with modern jackets. It makes no sense to put wrong measurements and warning that the label says 44 but the jacket is smaller, I think he knew what he had and knew about measurements too. Otherwise he wouldn't have pointed it out.
