I'm letting go of my vintage German firemans coat.
Like-new conditions with only minor storage wear.
    Size 38R
This is the best all-round leather jacket I have seen/owned and I would not be selling this if it wasn't a size too big for me. I'm basically just selling it to go find another in a smaller size.

Has inner front-belt for fit adjustment, buttons are removable for cleaning.
3 pockets + zipper access to inside the liner can be used as extra storage.
Has elasticated liners at wrist to keep wind out

    Shoulders 19''
    Chest 21.5''
    Arm 25.5''
    Length 29.5''

I am asking for $250 plus shipping!

Gosh - looks like the Germans wore variations of those coats in all kinds of contexts from the 1940's to the 1970's. Just like the police version, the navy version and the civilian truck driver's version. Nice thing. Late 1970's?

I'm sure somebody somewhere is still wearing one in some official capacity ;)

I thought it was a 1979 coat but I realized the '79 I'm quoting is written on the measurement label above, and that it's probably the length measurement and not the year.

I'm thinking it's probably an older coat just based on the materiel used.

    Bump!

I would do partial or full trades for Small Size WWII or Korean War uniforms.

Looking for HBTs, P-58/Gomer Pyle blouse, M41, M43 jackets.
