Here is a super nice example of an Aero for Thurston Bros. Premier 1930's Highwayman, in a size 40. Very cool build in beautiful blackened-brown Vicenza horsehide with olive stitching and an olive cotton lining.
Full disclosure, I am not always a fan of Aero's Vicenza. As a tannery-product, I think it's a very inconsistent leather... Some batches can be very un-special and just kind of meh, and some can be superb. The leather on this jacket is spectacular- some of the best Vicenza I've seen. Fantastic graining, super uniform panels, and a density and drape more akin to Shinki than the usual stuff Aero uses.
I took this in trade from another member here, and it would be a keeper except the shoulders are just too narrow for me. Near-new condition, the original owner bought from Thurston and it ended up mainly sitting in their closet. Just a really, really great example of what Aero can produce when all the stars align.
Asking $800, shipped within the ConUS. Paypal Friends & Family. Thanks!
