I (and probably a lot of you guys) just got an email form Aero announcing a big "hidden treasure" sale wherein they're selling jackets at "giveaway prices" which are "just above cost." I don't know whether to be excited about and maybe prepare for this or not. Can anyone who's more familiar with Aero tell me what they think the price for a generic A2 might be given these particular descriptions?

I wouldn't call an Aero A-2 "generic" but as to your question, completely speculating, I'd expect to see prices around 500GBP or so. If it's less than that, I'll be pleasantly surprised. Maybe some will be.

Blue label -- my guess is right where Sloan is guessing. Between 300 and 400 GBP. Pretty damn good.

Non-blue label stuff - I'm guessing 20% higher or so. Also pretty damn good.

For those of us in the US though, the timing stinks -- Sloan and the other Euro bastards around here are going to beat us to all the good stuff before we wake up!

Tough luck on me, working and not allowed to use phones/computers/iPads for personal use during work times so even though I will be around the sale goes live I won't get an early look in either.
And do you think if a US company were to do something similar they would start it at a time so we could have an equal chance of getting at the goodies?
Just tell your boss you will be in late, Im sure they will understand ;)

@Thuggee, It Monday October 22 at 0900hrs UTC.

I'm interested to see what they've dug up in the old storage room... and hoping for a few size 48's

Cheers they also just confirmed the sale on their Facebook page, will have to set my alarm as I’m sure many other folks will be doing

Girlfriend has ordered me to get there Monday morning and pick out an early Christmas present for myself. Sorry...

They won't let you in early no matter what time or how far you have come haha. And going by the way the temperature is dropping if you do get there to be first in the queue you may end up stiffer than a pair of Front Quarter Horse Hide lederhosen.
It's possible there may be priority on hot drinks to those buying an Aero mug ;)

450 quids sterling does not sound that "sale-ey" from Australia ??

That's $825 AUD for "goodness" sake !!

PLUS 10% DUTY/GST if they catch ya , plus post..

Might be too rich for my blood but we'll have a looksee on the day

I may have been kidding myself but was kinda hoping for the 250 quid ballpark !

Anything around £400 is half a price which is very fair, considering they're for the most part brand new. At £300, one could easily resell them for a profit.
