I've liked all the seasons. Excellent core cast, and the transient cast has been up to par with it. Sarah Paulson is amazing. She holds her own with the great Jessica Lange. In terms of talent, Taissa Farmiga gives her older sister a run for her money, too. In other words, I trust this team to deliver again. One of the more skilled elements is how they manage to spice the show with just the right kind of humor at just the right times.

It's very creepy. The clown video was chilling. This isn't my normal kind of show to watch, but now I'm curious about that clown. It has the potential to be a good horror character, in fact a horrifying one.

We really enjoyed the first episode and looking forward to more!! My husband really enjoyed Twisty. That tiny Indian woman is adorable!!! So far, I think this might end up being my favorite season yet!

Jessica Lange is over the top as sideshow ringleader Elsa Mars.
Using a 'modern' song is a cool touch.

Big fan of Jessica Lange. I wish they'd let her loose from the matriarch of the show. She plays the same character every season, and she's better than that. Paulson is fully capable of running the point.

I'd like to know the budget for this series. It has to be huge. There's a lot of technical know-how, polished results, and computer work going into it this year. It's better than a lot of movies I've seen. Some of the finest directing and editing in Hollywood. My only complaint is the sound and the overbearing volume of the music over the dialog. For example, in the diner, I had to turn on CC to catch all the words. There needs to be a better balance of creating atmosphere and catering to the characters. Personally, I'm far more interested in the characters than the kitsch music and sound effects.

I like the idea (Freak Show), but I'm not sure how excited I am about another season of the same-like story. I didn't realize it until about thirty minutes into this first episode. I was like, "Oh, we're doing this all again, eh?"

Having a hard time with Ms. Lange's heavy German accent. Clown's creepy as hell though... Two headed girl.... unnhhh....

    "No flipper action!"

Yes, I had a hard time with some of the dialogue. The diner was a good example, Ernest P Shackleton.

Worf, I think that is the point. Kinda like Young Frankenstein. While not a comedy, it is still 'poking' a little at some of the 'vintage' type shows.
