Another giant falls
Sorry to hear of Johnny's passing - A great musician indeed.
So many of the giants I've been priveleged to see in person are gone. Who is replacing them? there are a few out there getting "Air Time" but until commercial television turns it's camera back on real talent, they won't survive.
By the way, Is "Straight No Chaser" available on dvd?

From reading my own post, it would seem like Jazz is the sound of men grunting and phones ringing! That's not what I meant, of course, but live dates do have non-musical elements, too.
