In trying to add some variation to my existing hat collection I've come across this company www.coloradohorsehair.com. They make all kinds of accessories from woven horsehair. I own a couple of belts made by them and I can vouch for the quality of workmanship. Their hatbands are attractive and reasonably priced.

I like what I see here! Though I'm rather into the classic style Fedora, this would make a very nice variation. Well crafted too.
