... as that's the color my Stylemaster is in that Is on it's way from Helmer Haberdashers in Portland. Is it mid-way btwn DM's Fawn and the Acorn Fawn Akubra shows? Just curious if any one has any Akubra and pics of it in this color? Thanks

You ordered without knowing what the color looked like? lol

Seriously though, the general consensus based on several pics in the earlier pages of the Akubra Overload thread and the Akubra Campdraft thread are that it is a nice brown, lighter than Akubra's Dark Brown and with a hint of olive in it. It's a very nice-looking color.

Someone around here posted their Mid-Brown Campdraft with a red feather in it, cloudy day pics. It looked awesome. I'm sure you're Stylemaster will look great, and I hope you like it!

I'm sure it will be just fine, was just curious to see a pic of the color....

.... especially since ALL of the colors listed from Acorn Fawn to Brown are various shades of BROWN Even a Tan is a light brown as seen with DM's Nulabor Tan which is really an OLIVE Brown rather than a Tan Just curious that's all

It's a valid question. When I ordered a dark gray Sydney, I thought it was dark, but still gray, it turned out black with a hint of gray.

Mid-brown Federation III and Wested dark lambskin

This is a reasonably accurate shot, taken with a mix of incandescent and (mostly) flourescent light. However, in daylight there definitely is a distinct greenish undertone within the brown that others have mentioned.
