I do. It is one of my favorite hats, and one of my best. The felt is awesome, way up there in my collection. I even thought of including it in the "my 10 best hats" thread. If I would have seen the one you bought for sale, I would have snatched it up. Thin, yet luxurious, with an excellent hand. received_609805040440044.jpeg received_1267696647068835.jpeg received_272724834802640.jpeg received_952577142010370.jpeg received_1319445145242188.jpeg received_963019794297782.jpeg received_432114931709665.jpeg received_1560449454294498.jpeg received_418749259858629.jpeg

    The storefront then and now, and some ads. received_1295188337608803.jpeg received_442410300831873.jpeg received_675791763792539.jpeg received_320785229866613.jpeg received_864775890885115.jpeg received_302801855053581.jpeg received_321170516505399.jpeg

You would love to feel that felt, Brent. It is different, somehow.

Your positive comments just make me that much more excited to get my hands on the hat when it comes in. I'm surprised to see he was open as early as 1935. To be open for 35+ years and have 2 stores, I have no doubt his work must have been stellar.

  8. Nice hat and well bought! Congrats @Bryce

Someone else may have a basis for comparison but from hats I have seen here and others in person, the two hats shown here don't look like one of the branded Beaver Brand, Biltmore, or Hatco produced hats. I know the labeling suggests made in house but the ones we do know to be made for the brand often had slogans on hat suggesting made in house. Nice finds for both of you
