I'm in Canada. Does anyone know the approximate ball park price of the cost of shipping a Vanson Enfield jacket from Canada to the US?

$25? $50? I haven't bought a jacket in a decade or more and never had to ship one and can't remember the amount that might be needed.

Also, what type of packaging should one use to wrap up the jacket for secure shipping?
    Appreciate any advice.
    Thank you.

Large enough cardboard box, yea, and please wrap the jacket in a plastic bag.

One of my last jackets got left on my porch and saw a little rain. The plastic bag held - the box was damaged. I always use 1 or 2 brand new, garbage bags and wrap it in them well. Even for boots, checp insurance!

For a 6-7 lb jacket it'll be between $45 - 60 to Canada from US or vice versa.

I would use a layer of bubble wrap. Sometimes people use a box cutter to open the box and cut the jacket. At least bubble wrap will provide an inch of space between the box and the jacket.

Put a piece if flat card on top of the jacket inside the box too. Protects from over zealous box cutters.
