Art Fawcett (VS) Pecan 7 3/8

This is a limited edition fedora made by Art Fawcett. It is called the “Po Bob” in reference to legendary blues guitarist Robert Johnson. I got the last one Art had in July of 2017. It has only been worn a few times. It has a 2” brim and tall crown of 6”. I love the crown height but now prefer 3” brims. If this sells I will have a wider brim pecan colored custom made. Of course it’s 100% beaver.

    Size: 7-3/8 (23-1/4" circumference) **** update 8 1/8” x 6 5/8”
    Brim: 2” bound snap
Vintage Grosgrain 2" ribbon special frayed bow
    Grosgrain ribbon binding

Price: $250 shipped CONUS - OBO

I like it. It has a 1920s or ‘30s vibe with the modest brim and tall crown. Someone is going to be very happy getting this beauty.

What does your head measure in millimetres? Are you an oval....long oval?

This hat was the original prototype that Art had in his store. It was not made to fit my head. I had to put a shim in for it to fit. The opening is 23 1/4" according to Art. That would be 59.055cm or 590.55mm. It is a regular oval.

Could you post a pic with the brim snapped up all around?

I removed the shim and measured the opening.

    8 1/8” x 6 5/8” so 7 3/8 seems correct for the size.

Yes but I prefer wider brims. But having one or two narrow brims is not a bad idea for very windy days. It’s fine if it stays in my collection.

Yes sir. If it was a 1/8 we'd be talking! Good luck, I know someone needs this VS in their collection.
