Attractions biltbuck lot. 574 johnson and lot. 704 DP Horsehide leather jacket

it's been quite a while since my last post. My attractions leather jacket just arrived and I am still waiting for my Real Mccoy's Aklak Grizzly (expected 2024, june), so I post some pics these two jackets for your kind review.

I think vast majority of people who bought from Attractions https://attractions.co.jp/ would go for their engineering boots, typically lot 444 horsebutt. In case of the similar styling of leather jackets, one would choose time-worn clothing (at last co) instead of attractionsco, because TWC has a better cutting than attractions. In my opinion as attraction jacket owner and I did try on TWC jacket before in my last post, I think thats the truth. TWC has a better V-shape smart fit with smaller waist while attractions jackets are loost-fit, square-like, but more comfortable or more urban wearing style from another perspective. One more thing, attractions is much more accessible than TWC for its leather jackets are on regular annual basis, their sizing and measurements are all available on the website, pre-orders can be made from att official website or dealers around the world.

with alden penny loafer shoe and freewheelers “TAILDRAGGER” WINTER FLYING TROUSERS olive / freewheelers corduroy skagit trousers in black

the hide of lot. 574 johnson is super soft thin and light , it was even softer than the J-24 and J-31 of Real Mccoy's recent year version that makes me very obsessed with this jacket, touch like cashmere, very high quality without any asymmetry random crease.

Lot. 704 DP

Also high quality glossy hide, but the hide of lot 704 is much harder than that of lot 574 johnson, lot 704 touched like 2019 version Freewheelers leather jackets or Hide of Rainbow Country Leather Jackets. As described from the Attractions official website, Lot 574 johnson has been treated with Casein-finish that gave it unique soft moist texture, while lot. 704 DP is treated with deep black lacquer finish resulted in very different texture.

I personally prefer lot 574 more so I might put lot 704 dp for sale, very unfortunate that I cannot keep them both. if you are interested in this lot 704 dp size 42, PM me then. The description of bothe jackets are as below

Personally I like the 704 better. Both jackets have elongated bodies (original late '40s / early '50s motorcycle jackets are shorter) but whereas the 704 still looks well proportioned, the 574 visually has too much empty space between the collar and the chest zip.

I am not sure which model attractions used as reference for reproduction of these two jackets, there is very limited information they shared online. But you do remind me that lot 574 looks a bit like the rrl black hair on hide leather jacket, of course the price of RRL is much expensive. While RRL has quilted lining, 574 lining made of Satin fabric made of rayon and wool and 704 lining of red cotton 100% houndstooth check.

most of original american motocycle jackets has wide shoulder and chest, v-shape short sleeves and body length, the elongation of sleeves and body lengths (accompanied with narrow shoulder and straight fit body) is a very typical feature of japanese amekaji leather jackets modification. Well I just get used to them then. But thats also the reason why I did prefer the cutting of freewheelers and TWC more and I always give more praise to these two brands.
