The BBC made a nice three-part documentary on (Southern) American folk and early blues music in 2009. I'm posting it here because it covers the 1920s to the 1960s, so it includes our era. Perhaps the material will be old hat to Loungers, but I found the historical narrative and context to be very helpful.
