I have one of their jacket, a classic (no distressed or anything) sheepskin Lewis Leathers dominator "copy". I got it from Mr Porter on sale, at a steal price, around 650€.
This is really great stuff. The leather is a bit thick (for sheepskin), but very supple, I love it. I guess it is like the Lewis Leathers sheepskin, with some texture, really natural taning process here, for sure. Maybe not for you, if you are in chase of a luxury sleek jacket, like a Saint Laurent.
The cut is perfect for me, but you need to be carefull. For example, I took a size 3 of this model, and I wear 95% of S size. But I probably need a size 2 if I take their Double Rider jacket. A bit strange sizing, watch measures carefully.
The lining is light weight filled viscose, feel quite top grade. Very similar to the one The Real McCoy's use on their J-24, but twice less heavy.
The hardware is top grade YYK with some custom branding on it, not as cool as waldes, talon and such, but quality is here.
As for their "special custom" jackets, this is more some kind of art for "rich bored people". I personnaly like the artistic part, they really go deep into the process, but yeah, hard to wear it.
Definitely worth it, if you find their "classic" stuff at a fair price.

I’d assume the heat displaces the wax/fat/oil in the leather and helps to create and reinforce the creases.
