Very Collegiate 1920's style. works well with a boater or panama hat and a pair of linen trousers. http://www.brooksbrothers.com/IWCat...ection_Id=217&Product_Id=961957&Parent_Id=202
Ah come on, have a little imagination! That's a perfect 20's styled coat that one could wear on campus. Perfect with some ivory wool pants, a boater and a Ukulele Twenty Three Skidoo!
Nah... I'm a brave guy when it comes to standing out in fashion, but I don't think I could wear that around campus.
Mycroft/WildRoot Could be a nice ensemble for the trip to Oxford Mycroft. WildRoot, that 23 Skidoo reference reminds me of a song- you know the John Prine one? Jesus, the missing years? -BT
Hummm. It reminds you of that? It reminds me of the 20's. Any way, I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I would totaly wear that coat! Ya got to think 1920's! Things were wild in the Jazz age. Root.
You tokkinn a me WR? Striped blazers and white flannels? sure, that's about as English collegiate as it gets- a boater too- punting on the river? that's classic '20s-'30s Ox-Bridge. BT.
When I was a photographer at Butlins (famous British sea-side holiday camps), part of my uniform was a bright blue and yellow striped blazer-that is tame by comparison! I actually quite liked mine.
See, I knew some of you would catch on! But, that look was also popular over here in the US in those days! The English weren't the only well dressed! Root.
