Casual Dress Primer

I looked and didn't see a thread for this, maybe I didn't look far enough...

But is there some type of primer on what to dress for like a comfortable night at home? Would it be something like, dress shirt, slacks and a sweater? Any suggestions pictures examples would be much appreciated!!
