Games start this weekend! The long drought is over...

Boise St. at #3 is the highest a mid-major/non-BCS team has ever opened up at in the polls. That's the good news....the bad news is they play #10 Virginia Tech right out of the box. The silver lining.....if they beat VT they should be able to run the table, thus insuring a spot in the championship game because everyone else in the top five is going to lose at least one game.

Congrats to Auburn University on their National Championship. I must say, having a lot of friends from the Lounge in Oregon, I was rooting for the Ducks, but Auburn was clearly the better team.
Now, let's get on to something much more earthshaking. What's the deal with those Oregon uniforms??? The socks look emergency police barriers, while the helmets look like they'd cause seizures in people with epileptic conditions. Troooly beeezarre.
