I saw this in a magazine and thought it was pretty cool. Has anyone tried this? I like that you can send in a tube of lipstick for them to custom recreate.

It is cool.

I would like to try it and see if they can recreate the texture, not just the shade! Col.or is easy to find, but a matte permanent lipstick? Not so easy.
In the 90s, Maybelline put out a long-wearing lipstick in two absolutely perfect colors, "Red" and "Crimson" that I have never found a satisfactory replacement for. MACs Ruby Woo hits right between the two color-wise, and is almost as good a texture.
I still have ends of the Maybelline ones, so maybe my big birthday splurge will be to have them redone and report back...since they have a counter in San Francisco!
