While I lurk through this thread extensively, may I please have some assistance finding websites comparable to AmeriMark's designs? In the spoiler are examples that I really liked from them. Other sites I saw in shoe findings didn't have this specific 'flavor.' Currently, AM is out of everything I'd want.

The abovementioned Royal Vintage has absolutely drool worthy vintage shoes and are very highly thought of in reenacting circles. They are, however, VERY expensive. You decide if they are worth it.

Re-mix shoes are a little more reasonable, but nowhere near AM prices. B.A.I.T. shoes has many cute vintage styles and are cheaper and have lots of shoes on sale most of the time. You could also try Zulily which often has "retro" shoes like bait, Chelsea, and rocket, no ideas about quality.

Keep looking at ebay/etsy for reasonable things. You'll find something.

All right, so I finally placed my order for a lovely butterfly sleeve, full length gown, that will be in a beige-champagne. Since all the bridesmaid gowns are smooth chiffon or similar, I'm now opting for a solid pump instead of strappy or with cut-outs.

I'm really leaning toward this pump from Aerosole, which has nearly the perfect heel I want for an authentic 40s dupe. If you've worn this pump before, how does it hold up over a few hours? If I do buy them and love them, I may buy some in black and brown, since I love mixing/matching neutrals.

If some of you think of options with a tad more character, I'd enjoy seeing some options. I'm keeping a budget of around $45 with shipping, since I want to budget for potential cosmetics, accessories, and bachelorette get-together. (I did look at the others, and most are outside my price range.)

Royal Vintage Shoes are having a tremendous sale. Their Emily boots are marked down by nearly $100.

I ended up going for the shoe in the photo I offered. I should have ordered a half-size down, because the very back of the shoe has a strong V shape. Even with my usual padding, each step I took forced my toes to compensate for the looseness. It was just enough to bother me. I strongly believe that with a better fit, my toes wouldn't have felt strained. But for 10 hours of wear, at least 6 of them standing, they still worked out amazingly. I still want a pair in black and brown, so one day I'll have a good set of go-to heels.

^ I'm sorry I didn't see your post from April. Another online retailer I like is Bedford Fair. Here are some things I found for fall at Amerimark and BF:

https://www.amerimark.com/angel-steps-stacie/161107.html (faux leather knock-off of the above and I'm trying to decide which to go for)

Does anyone have a "go-to" product to soften old leather heels? Also, does anyone know of a website that might sell rubber heel caps for vintage shoes? Thanks :)
