I've had (and played) his "Hot Licks, Cold Steel, and Trucker's Favorites" since it came out in the early 70's. Probably not the typical Commander Cody music you're thinking of, but I liked it. Mama... hated diesels... so baddd!

Better late than never. Co-founder & bassist of the British rock band 'Status quo' Alan Lancaster died from complications of multiple sclerosis a few days ago (26th) aged 72.
