designing clothes on the computer

Does anyone know a program in which you can create a fashion line with out using "paint" or photo shop?It took me hours to make Grand Imperial Police Trooper Uniform on paint. what do you think?

I'd check into Corel Draw! and a graphics tablet.

The tablet is really the key here, Wacom sells a tablet for under $100 and it makes drawing....Possible.

You can probably find the old Microsoft PhotoDraw v 2.0 at a used sotware store...it's one of my all-time favorite drawing programs. simple, not much learning curve and nearly free now.

The world most certainly needs a handy doo-dad with drop-down menus for garment, cut, cloth and so on to design everything from a riding outfit to a clubbing suit! This is a start, but the world needs more, more!
