^^^ The concept of an airplane engine in a motor car is indeed an interesting proposition. The only one I'm aware of is Jay Leno's EcoJet.

The Green Monster packed a jet engine back in the 60's.

Man, some of those cars are to cool for school! Some where I saw a modern built, but using only vintage parts, a Curtiss OX5 powered car. It had no body work, just the bare minimum to get around the race course!
