Having recently bought a size 44 nr mint Star I am selling this one in a size 42. Here's the link to the auction:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/A2-FLIGHT-JAC...Collectables_Militaria_LE?hash=item3efad84e91

The jacket belonged to Louis M Frey, who enlisted as a private in 1942 in WILKES BARRE PENNSYLVANIA.He was aged 32 and was a clerk in his civilian life. His name and enlistment number are printed on the lining. The leather name strip was removed by the family before it was sold a couple of years ago.

The russet horsehide is in very good condition and is supple and strong. There are a few small areas of surface wear, where the top layer of leather has flaked slightly, but the hide really has not been completely broken in. There are areas of pronounced grain and areas of smoother leather. There are no holes or patched repairs, just some old re-stitching under the right arm pit.

All the ball snaps function correctly as does the throat latch.

The zipper is an original Talon and looking at it closely it appears that the female side has been replaced at some stage with an original Talon zipper track. It has been professionally done using the original stitch holes. There is a 2mm separation on the male end, but this is hard too see and the zip functions smoothly.

The lining is in good condition, with some wear/repairs at the neck and the armpits. The under arm gromits are in tact and show very little wear.

The waistband is original and has a few small sewn repairs, whilst the wristlets are professional replacements from Eastman. There is a white label in the left pocket with the production numner 5930 stamped on it.

Measurements (from the outside): armpit to armpit: 22.75" (front and back), sleeves from shoulder seam to end of cuff: 24", across the shoulders: 18" and from the base of the collar to the hem at the back: 25".

Here are some pics from the auction.
