Hello,
I've a Guerra hat that I like very much but it comes with a fabric sweatband.
Do you know if it's possible to change it for a leather sweatband?

Any experience ?

Thanks a lot

It' a lot of work. Remove the fabric sweatband, using a sharp knife, slowly cutting one stitch at a time. Remove the outside band, too. Remove all the threads left in the hat. Use a leather sweatband, exactly the right size, pirated from another hat. You can insert the needle through the little holes you see, near the reed of the sweatband. Make sure the needle comes out in a place that will be under the hatband, when finished. On the outside, you can make your stitches about 1/2" to 3/4" long. On the inside, just go to the next existing hole. When you finish the sweatband, put the hatband back on. Here are two I did. Have fun!
