Faustman material

Quick question guys, I'm getting fed up with my hat always getting wet, but of course, I don't want to ruin the hat with the wrong waterproofing. What material are Faustman hats normally made of?

They are made of wool or fur (rabbit / hare) felt. If you have more questions about Faustmann I would direceted them to the German - Austrian thread.
