The storms here in SoCal have been freaking me out, since I've twice before had my house destroyed by floods (two "hundred-year, once-in-a-lifetime" events within seven years). Fortunately, neither rain, nor sleet, etc. stays these couriers from their appointed rounds, so this came in the mail yesterday:

Not the hat - the shirt. I may be stressed out, but I'm smiling knowing that IF the Secret Hat Society DID exist, wink-wink, I'd never have anything to worry about.

And up here in Seattle, it's been unseasonably warm this year. Highs running 50-55, where as normally we're in the mid-30s. We're probably a little light on rain as well, compared to the normal. No snow yet this year either.

Having said that...we'll probably be hit with a blizzard next week...
