Thought everyone on the board would be interested in this news article on the Noir City Film Festival in San Francisco. (Link to the International Herald Tribune article here).
According to the article, there is something of a revival going on with the genre. Also of note, Marsha Hunt, one of the actresses in the movie "Raw Deal" was signing copies of her book, "The Way We Wore: Styles of the 1930s and '40s and Our World Since Then", a book that I think would be of particular interest to the ladies of the lounge. It features various fashions of the 30's and 40's in it.
