Unlabeled California Sportwear has been seen with a Montgomery Ward label. The example below has the belt removed. I have the same jacket with the belt attached.
These are exceptional jackets.
Through a recent question I have been able to confirm these jackets were made by California Sportswear.
This unique Stitching was ask about when I posted a CSC jacket recently. I had not thought about it until it was pointed out. I knew I had seen this technique before, today I found it. I have suspected these jackets were made by CSC. This confirms it for me.

Interesting how this jacket used side zippers to tighten instead of laces. Effective but might be a bit expensive. This jacket must be a higher priced model in its day, it has more details than others. Unfortunately the belts were cut off right?Unlabeled California Sportwear has been seen with a Montgomery Ward label. The example below has the belt removed.
