From Hudson, Ohio Antique Fair - VERY old Topper

Spotted this yesterday in Hudson (probably the niftiest little town in Ohio).

I'm guessing WAY early, 1820's? Note the ribbon. It was very, very brittle. My first thought was that it looked like it had spent time in its owner's coffin.

Price: $85.

The kind of hat Mr Lincoln used to carry state papers in as he strolled through Washington. Tres cool!
