This is a fantastic vintage captains sweater in the classic seafaring style. Item dates to circa 1930s and is in superb condition. Features a generous boat neck collar, wide ribbed waist, ribbed cuffs, thick warm winter weave.
Color is Navy blue. Label reads "100% Wool". Maker identified as "Indian - Goodman Knitting Co. Boston".

Apart from very light shelf wear, this sweater has no notable defects. Such a great piece in rare condition. The most significant item of note is slight musty smell from storage. So have it dry cleaned, air it out, and you've got yourself a gem of a vintage sweater.

See measurements below to ensure proper fit. Item fits snug but not overly so. For reference, I am 38 chest and this fits perfectly.

    Measurements

    Unstretched

Arm pit to arm pit - 20"
Shoulder- 20" (shoulder seam styled to end over the should instead of at the shoulder)
    Sleeve- 23"
    Length - 26"

A truly classic piece of depression era winter textile art to add to your vintage wardrobe! Asking $135 o.b.o. plus shipping.

NOTE: Please ask any and all questions before purchasing, as I cannot accept returns on this item.
