First up is a TFL Special order Bluegrass Green Campdraft, size 56. These CD's were a special edition created for Loungers a few years ago in Bluegrass Green with 2 1/2" brims, and a bronze liner. This example has hardly been worn and creased in a simple center dent, can easily be popped out and shape to your preference. Next is a standard carbon grey Campdraft, size 56, also barely worn and in like new condition. Lastly but not least is a Fed IV in Tawny Fawn, size 56. This one has been worn and is in excellent condition, very clean. Your choice $75.00 USD each, plus shipping. Please ask any questions, more pics available upon request.
Yup, that TFL Special order Bluegrass Green Campdraft is sweet...just too small for me. Anyone want to sell me a size 58?
Do the Campdrafts run true to size? I recall that The Hattery advised us all to order 1 size larger than our usual with the Fed IV, so I did, and with a little sizing tape they fit fine. How about the CDs?
Hey Benz, The Bluegrass is spot on 7, the grey is a bit larger, would benefit from a bit of felt under the sweat until in wears in. B
Of the 6 or 7 Akubra’s I’ve owned, I’ve never had to size up, all except for this BG have been a bit bigger than a 56 and needed a bit of filler behind the sweat to fill them out. Larger sizes might fit differently, but that’s been my experience.
Any chance of me dropping by and trying them on Interbak? I’m in Kitchener....i find that I’m a 56 in some brands but a 57 in others. A tad confusing...like the bluegrass and gray.
