FE49BFD1-3F16-41FF-BC74-5E750EFF7021.jpeg This is a beautiful GIBSON & BARNES “Flightliner” goatskin black leather jacket size 40 S in perfect condition from the 1990s. The Flightliner is the uniform jacket that was worn by many airlines’ flight crew in the 1990s and early 2000s. This one has the COMAIR logo embroidered on the inside lining. Wearing of these jackets was discontinued because of their high cost.

G&B makes some beautiful leather jackets. They are located in the San Diego CA area and used to be named FLIGHT SUITS LIMITED. This jacket is of the highest quality. They also make several A-2s that are on the same level as the best ones outbtgere. Today’s cost new for this jacket from G&B is around USD $600.00. This one is like new! This one features a pleated “bi-swing” back that allows full shoulder movement, “hand warmer side pockets and leather cuffs and waistband (not knit). The leather is in perfect condition. I am selling this jacket because it does not fit me as well as I would like (sleeves were a bit short). It is just a bit too tight for my liking. I am 5’7” with a 40” chest. I was fortunate enough to find one that fits me better (42S) and so this one is now surplus to my needs.

    Measurements:
    Shoulders. 21” 53.5 cm
    Chest (pit-to-pit). 24” 61 cm
    Sleeve. 22” 56 cm
Length (collar seam to 23” 58.7 cm
    bottom)
    waist 19-1/2” 50cm elastic

This jacket has been cleaned and sanitized. Asking price is $175.00 plus postage from Boston Mass. Email w1rc@near-fest.com if interested.
