FS Optimo fedora size 59.5 with price adjustment

I bought this hat hoping it could be sized up, but sadly it could not. I’m offering it here first, so here it is:

Optimo of Chicago center dent fedora in their satin finish/ melusine beaver felt sized at 59.5 cm. or 7 7/16. The center dent is at about 4” with the brim about 2 3/8”. The color is Camel with a matching edge binding and a 12 ligne (1 1/16”) Nicotine ribbon with a classic bow. This hat is fresh back from the Optimo work shop where it was cleaned, a new liner and a new sweat band were installed, blocked, and brushed.

There is some staining on the inside of the hat box.

It is a beautiful hat. I love Optimos; I have twenty of them. I bought twelve directly from Optimo and the rest second-hand. The most I have paid for a second-hand Optimo was 400 dollars, and that was because it was a Blue Pearl Heirloom felt that was only a couple of months old and exactly my size.

I am telling you this because although I know you are selling your Optimo at what really is a fair price, I fear you might not be able to sell it for what it is worth.

gorgeous hat. i own six Optimo hats and will concur that resale at it's very best is 2/3 of retail. the only used one I own I got in a competitive auction at about 40% of retail.
