In my quest to find the Y'2 Single Rider that fits, I almost succeeded with this one, but failed to look at the sleeve measurements when I bought this off Grailed. This fits me well except the sleeves are a bit too short for me (UGH). The good news is that I now know my Y'2 size.

For sales is an excellent condition Y's Single Riders Horsehide Jacket. I would say its medium weight and no tears in the leather. Has a plaid wool liner.

Pit-Pit: 22"
Shoulders: 19"
Sleeve: 21.5"
Bottom of back collar to bottom: 25"

$650 + Shipping.

Thanks - Let me take some measurements of the rest of my jackets one more time and get back to you today; I don't want to take your time messing with something if I don't think it has a reasonable chance of working. I think I had measured that I thought I wanted 22" on the low end for sleeves and this was a bit on the longer side of jackets as I wear, but if you are talking about $350 may be worth it for non-ideal measurements.

Does it look like this jacket was made this way originally, or are there some clear indications of alteration?

Hi, it was altered. If I don't sell, I will make it into a vest or revisit designing. I bought a used Black denim Levis jacket and might also replace the arms with denim sleeves.

Revkev was patient with my questions on sizing with this "uniquely proportioned" piece and very kind to offer to sell to me with a return option.

Anyone willing to provide feedback on whether my body is out of proportion enough for this to work?

I think it looks great! Only if you were using it as a riding jacket might the sleeves be too short, but otherwise looks good.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree, and would add that another feature that probably makes this less than the ideal riding jacket is the extra length at 25" from the base of the collar to bottom.

I have a Aero Zip Sleeve Highwayman that has about 1.25" extra on the sleeves and 1.5" less on the length and plan to use that one when I get back into riding. I sold my Vespa when my kids were born and am itching to get back into into a motorcycle again in the next few years now that they are older.

Planning for this jacket to be more casual use. The extra length looks ok imo with more modern pants and untucked shirt.
